So the first day of school, we were assigned to do a character walk without any clear instruction or lecture.

So that is how this came about. I've done walks before but they weren't serious so I give you my first serious walk.

Teacher pointed out that the turn was scary and now I can't be uncreeped out by it.

If you can't tell, the person is depressed and they turn around. They're about to say something but they decide against it. Subtle animation is difficult, I must say.

LOL The turn is scary xD;; At first I thought he was sad or reject. Nope, creepy dude is creepy. But it's smooth, and I like how it slows down when the guy turns. You can pick up what's happening even if there's not words being said. Well done~ How many frames was this?

Nope. You were right the first time. He's sad and shy. I don't remember the frames but if you time it by seconds and multiply that with 12, it would give you about the correct value, give and take.

Now that you mention it...BOTH. Do them for reference, and then animate them.

What surprises me trough the years i've known you is. Everytime you say something is bad or badly done is actually something i couldn't do in a million years! i agree the turn seemed weird, but the walk itself is very smooth.

Aw thanks. Well, I guess I am too hard on myself. Having seen my peers' work, I wish it could be better but it is a good attempt for what it is.
